Questions
How do I open the next kitchen?
Earn at least one star on a kitchen's last shift. Taco Papel's opens Ramen Washi, Ramen Washi's opens Pâtisserie Papier, and Pâtisserie Papier's opens Bao Zhi.
A shift is too hard. What can I do?
Buy upgrades in the Kitchen with the coins you earn, and replay earlier shifts for more. Every shift is the same each time you play it, so it gets easier once you know it. You can also turn on Relaxed mode in Settings, which makes customers 40% more patient.
What's the Daily Rush?
Once you've earned a star on a kitchen's last shift, it gets one extra shift each day. Every player gets the same rush that day, and the map counts how many days in a row you've earned a star.
Does my progress move between my devices?
Yes. If your iPhone, iPad and Mac are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on, your stars, coins and upgrades sync between them. Settings stay on each device. If progress isn't showing up, check that iCloud is turned on for Let Them Cook, then give it a few minutes.
Can I play my own music instead?
Yes. Start your own music or podcast and the game's music steps aside, while its sound effects keep playing. You can also turn the music off in Settings.
How do I start over?
Choose Reset progress in Settings. This erases your stars, coins and upgrades on every device signed in to the same iCloud account, and can't be undone.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No, and there never will be. Coins come only from playing, and everything can be bought with them.
What do I need to play?
An iPhone or iPad with iOS 18 or later, or a Mac with macOS 15 or later.
